Uganda Rises Higher In The Newly Released FIFA World Rankings

The Uganda National team, the Cranes have rised to 79th from 80th in the current FIFA rankings released today Thursday 24 October, 2019.

This follows a slim 1:0 win in an international friendly played recently against Ethiopian.

Uganda is sixteenth in Africa behind Guinea. South Sudan were the biggest movers, climbing eleven slots to sit 162nd. This follows 1:0 and 2:1 win over Seychelles in AFCON 2021 qualifiers.
