Why Jamal Wasswa Arrested Singer Baby Rain for Impersonating Him and Stealing His Money

A few days ago, singer Jamal Wasswa arrested the manager of his Impersonator called Baby Rain who has also come out and spoken out, defending himself claiming that he is just a cover artiste despite taking money under his name.

According to the video making rounds, the manager of Jamal Wasswa Impersonator could be seen being dragged by Jamal Wasswa , thumped bitterly sustaining several injuries in face and dragged at nearby police .

It is reported that the impersonator was booked to perform in Mukono-Seeta, at a price tag of Ugx 500K and Ugx 200K was paid upfront as a booking fee.

Before the performance, the promoter noticed that the man to whom he had given the money wasn’t Jamal but rather an impostor.

The promoter was quick to tip Jamal’s management, who responded swiftly and tricked the criminals into picking their Ugx 300K balance before they could render the service at the then impending event.

He makes it known that his valuables including money, phone, and car keys were stolen in the process of his arrest before demanding to be treated.
