The Uganda U-20 national team "The Hippos" who left for Tanzania on Friday, have on Saturday 21st learned of their group opponents ahead of their AFCON U-20 Zonal (CECAFA) campaign.
Uganda is drawn in group B along with S.Sudan and Burundi. Uganda opens on Monday with a fixture against S.Sudan just a week after their senior team beat Uganda Cranes 1:0 in Kenya.
Uganda will conclude it's group B fixture against Burundi on Wednesday 25th November,2020. The tournament will take place in Arusha City of Tanzania from 23rd November – 6th December, 2020.
The U-20 qualifiers will see 11 countries competing. Hosts Tanzania has been placed in group A with Somalia, Rwanda and Djibouti, while Burundi, Eritrea, South Sudan and Uganda are in group B. Ethiopia plays in group C with Kenya and Sudan.
