Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations: Uganda Plays Mozambique in Semi Finals

The Uganda Sand Cranes have progressed to the Semi finals of the AFCON Beach soccer Senegal 2021 going on at Saly Beach Soccer Stadium in Dakar-Senagal.

The Sand Cranes' progress comes after Senegal won 3:1 against Tanzania in the last group match for either sides. The win means Senegal finished with maximum points after also beating Uganda 5:4 in the group's opening match. Uganda qualifies for the Semi Finals as group runners up after they won against Tanzania.

Uganda will now face Mozambique on Friday 28th May in the semi finals and a win will guarantee them a berth at the 11th edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Moscow, Russia between Thu, Aug 19, 2021 and Sun, Aug 29, 2021.

Seven time champions Senegal will take on Morocco in the other Semi Finals.
