When President Museveni announcd the new 42days lockdown, people thought it wouldn't be so long but now after the new leaked vehicle movement permit going viral showing lockdown could go on for six months has left many shocked.

This new permit shows that the lockdown wil not end until early next year (2022) according to a letter from the Director of Finance and Logistics of The Office of the President that permits an ISO (Internal Security Organization) vehicle movement.

Ugandans have noted the permit clears the said vehicle movement for six months starting 22 June 2021.

Last month infections started to spike and new cases, particularly among younger people, have surged, fuelling fears that the country could slip into an out-of-control second wave.
