Now former SC Villa left back Derrick Ndahiro has written a heartfelt message to SC Villa club and fans thankful for the three years stint he spent playing for the record league champions.
Derrick Ndahiro joined the Joggos three years ago with Moses Basena the coach for the sixteen time Uganda Premier League champions and he's thankful for having been given a chance to play in Uganda Premier League.
"It has been a proud honor to represent this club, About three years ago, courtesy of coach Moses Basena, I was brought to Villa Park. Over the years here, I have grown and become a better player. I am forever grateful to coach you Coach Moses.May God bless you abundantly." Ndahiro hinted.
Ndahiro will soon be unveiled as URA FC's second acquisition after they lured the services of central defender Simon Baligeya. On his next move, Derrick had this to tell....
"Sad as it is, the time has come to move on but I take with me many memories, lessons and great moments that will live with me forever. I will be joining Uganda Revenue Authority (URA FC), a club which I want to thank for the next opportunity opportunity they have given." Ndahiro stated.
URA FC will represent Uganda in the CAF Confederations Cup after finishing second on the Star Times Uganda Premier League table for the season 2020/2021 which was stopped after 75% of matches was completed, in respect for the lock down imposed on the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This presents Ndahiro for an opportunity to play club football at the continental level. At URA FC, Brian Majwega was oftenly deployed at the left wing but rumors have it that he may join former bosses KCCA FC for his third tenure.
