The president of football governing body of Uganda, Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Eng. Moses Magogo has spit fire at Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic’s poor performance in his second stint as the Uganda National football team’s head coach.
Micho’s second tenure has seen him fail to win any of the two matches of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, losing 2:0 to Algeria in the opener before drawing 1:1 with less fancied side Niger recently.
The Uganda Cranes currently stand at the bottom of a four team group F of the AFCON qualifiers with one point and negative two goal difference. Algeria top the table with six points, Niger stands second and Tanzania in third.
Ahead of the Cranes’ third game, Eng. Moses Magogo has given Micho an ultimatum of the match against Tanzania either to win it or else leave the job.
Uganda Cranes will play its third match of group F in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Tanzania on 19th September 2022 at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
