Vipers Sc and Bul FC Land Olympic Real De Bangui and Future FC Draws Respectively

Uganda Premier League champions Vipers Sc have been drawn against Central African Republic champions Olympic Real de Bangui in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions.

Should Vipers win this level, they will face TP Mazembe of DR Congo who have also won the tournament on five occasions at the next hurdle with the overall winner advancing to the group stages of CAF Champions League.

In the other draws on the day in Cairo-Egypt, Stanbic Uganda Cup winners Bul FC have been drawn against Egypt’s Future FC in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederations Cup.

Future FC was nominated by the Egyptian FA having been 4th onthe table by the time of submission despite being a new entrant in the league last season.

Like the CAF Champions League, the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round will take place on 9th September,2022 with the aggregate winner taking on with Benin’s Buffles FC or Kallon FC of Sierra Leone.
