Okwi On Target as Uganda Cranes Beat Ethiopia in International Friendly

Emmanuel Okwi was on target on13th October, 2019 as Uganda cranes beat Ethiopia 1:0 in an international friendly match.

The match played at Bahir Dar in Ethiopia saw Emmanuel Okwi strike at the back of the net in the 20th minute to hand the Cranes a deserved away win.

It was new coach John McKinstry's first match in charge of the Cranes and unlike his predecessor Sebastian Desabre, the Northern Irish man has started on a winning note. 

Three substitutes were made with Kirizestom Ntambi, Moses Opondo and Nicolas Wakiro Wadada replacing Allan Kyambadde, William Kizito Luwaga and Ronald Mukiibi respectively.
