All Sipapa's Wealth and Property Seized by Police as His Case Takes New Bitter Twist

Things are getting more bitter for city socialite Charles Olim aka Sipapa who was arrested and taken into custody 5 months ago for allegedly stealing UGx 1.6bn from a South Sudanese national before more 12 cases unrwapped in court.

According to Sipapa’s lawyer, Godfrey Turyamusiima, Sipapa's case count recently increased from 7 to 12 with many of them related to money laundering as even all his property is assumed to have been purchased using that same money.

Turyamusiima, the lawyer said that many of Sipapa’s possessions like cars, and TVs at home have been seized by the court.

It is believed that under the pretext that he acquired the properties with money from the wrong channels.

Sipapa and his wife Shamira were remanded back to Prison until January 2023 when they will come back to court.
