VIDEO: Panic as Diamond Platnumz and His Crew Get Stuck in an Elevator for Hours

It was panic and terror as Tanzanian Singer Diamond Platnumz and crew experienced a frightened moment when they got stuck in a faulty elevator while heading out for a musical performance.

In a video clip shared by the self proclaimed Simba, Diamond Platnumz, he was with his fellow musician Juma Jux, together with their security teams they were on they way to perform at house party in Tanzania when tragedy struck .

"Today I @fole_x @juma_jux and some of our colleagues have survived death in the lift. My brothers with tall buildings that use lifts, let us work hard to service our lifts to avoid harm to the citizens."- he posted.

Footage of the incident shows understandably distressed Diamond, panning the camera to show the crowd of people packed in an elevator as everyone tried to figure out away to get out.

However,Diamond quickly intervened ,advising against using force where a more strategic approach was required.
