Lwesibawa Goal Hands Tooro United Victory Over Mbarara city

In the single match played in the Star Times Uganda Premier League today Sunday 3rd November at St.Paul National Seminary play grounds, home team Tooro United were the victor side courtesy of a lone Strike from former Villa Midfielder Godfrey Lwesiba in the 70th minute.

The "entale za Tooro" won and moved 11th in the sixteen team log with 13 points from eleven matches after. They have won four matches,drawn one and lost six. It's Tooro United's first win since 2nd October when they beat KCCA FC 1:0 at the same pitch.

Since then, they had lost to Kyetume (0:2),BUL (1:2), and a 3:0 loss to Onduparaka plus a fruitless draw at Bright stars.

For Mbarara city, the loss means the "Ankole Lions" have not a match since 1st October 2019 when they beat Busoga United 2:1.

Since the The pride of Ankole have not won a single match losing 2:1 at Wakiso giants, a 2:1 home loss to Maroons and a barren draw away to the tax collectors.

The loss means the Mbarara side are just a slot above relegation but level on points (9) with Bright Stars who are in relegation.

Both sides are back in action on Wednesday 6th November, 2019 as Mbarara city play host to fellow relegation threatened Bright stars whereas Tooro United will on the same day take on fourth placed SC Villa.

Tooro United's midfielder Paddy Muhumuza was named the Pilsner man of the match as he helped his side win a match after a month.
