Why Did Tooro United's CEO Resign? Unmasking the Dark Demons of the Team

Today Sunday 10th November, 2019 early in the morning, Tooro United CEO Moses Tusiime resigned his role at the club sighting an unworkable environment at the club.

The former club's player's resignation came a week after coach Wasswa Bbosa had thrown in the towel sighting similar reasons. The two pointed at financial crisis at the club that has left it unable to pay players and to support other financial related activities.

When Wasswa was leaving, he acknowledged that owner Smart Obed had sold some shares to another person and it seems the new share holder is in parallel to how things were being run. The departure of the two clearly indicates how the club has gotten a big mountain to climb in a bid to replace them.

Wasswa was at the club for more than one and half years and during his time, the club managed a top four finish last season. With the fact that Moses Tusiime was a player at the club up to 2013 when the club gained promotion (as soana) means he knew the club very well and has been the club CEO for the last four years.

Tooro United currently stands 12th in the sixteen team log at 14 points with only four points from relegation. They have played 13 matches, winning four, drawing two and losing seven and they have conceded double they number they have managed to score (scored 9and conceded 18).

They are one of the sides to lose the most number of matches, Police have lost 8, with Tooro United,Busoga United and Wakiso giants next in line with seven losses.

The "Entale Za Tooro" have only one win in the last seven matches and the environment now seems to put them in trouble with a sword awaiting them if the issues are not settled well and in time.
