The FIFA General secretary Fatma Samoura jetted into the country ahead of a series of work-related activities she will conduct with various football stakeholders during her two day stay in Uganda.
She was received at the VIP Lounge of Entebbe International Airport by FUFA top brass; 1st Vice President Justus Mugisha, CEO Edgar Watson and Communications Director Ahmed Hussein.
Among her duties while in Uganda, Samoura will open officially the completed extension of FUFA new offices in Mengo and visit FIFA funded projects under the FIFA Forward Programme.
She will also meet with FUFA Executive Committee, Minister of State for Sports Hon. Denis Hamson Obua, sponsors and Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga to discuss sporting issues especially football in Uganda.
She's another big member of the world's football governing body FIFA, to visit Uganda After FIFA President Gianni Infantino who laid a foundation to the Kadiba Project in Lungujja-Mengo, Lubaga in February, 2017.
