It is now comfirmed that Kabuye will feature for Gomba Lions in the fourth coming Airtel Masaza Cup tournament 2020.
Gomba Lions have in the evening hours of Thursaday 11th June gone to their facebook page to announce as the experienced goalkeeper has renewed his contract at the record champions. This they had to write:
"The Den of lions is permanent home for Nasif "Al Nasif" Kabuye, thanks for the faith"
Kabuye a goalkeeper at Kampala regional league side Kampala Junior team was also at Gomba as the "Lions" won their record fourth title. He has (KJT) captained the side since U-7 untill now.
He is a very much experienced played in the tournament having also played for Busujju in 2015 before switching to Buluuri the next. He has beem playing for Gomba from 2017 and he's currently still at the record Masaza Cup champions (four titles).
At Kampala Junior Team (KJT), he has been named the best goalkeeper on four four occassions in the Kampala regional league 2010/2011, 2012/2013, 2016/2017 and in 2018/2019.
He is also well known for his goalkeeping antics that helped KJT reach the Uganda Cup quarter finals in 2016/2017 season.
He joins other players already confirmed like, Orum Bishop Henry, Nasser Lukwago, Bashir Lubinga, Ponsiano Ssegonja, Husein Ssenoga, Ibrahim Kasinde, Sharif "Di Maria" Nsereko, Derrick Emmanuel "Manonne" Were, Bright Vuni, Abdullah "Abu" Ssentongo, Richard Basangwa, Ben "Alaba" Nambokho and Isaac "Falcao" Ogwang.
Bulemeezi are the defending champions of Masaza cup having beaten Busiro 1:0 in the finals at Namboole. Thanks to a lone strike from Loki Emmanuel a the 100 minute mark.
The 2020 Airtel Masaza cup tournament is the 16th edition and is scheduled to the place immediately the lock down is lifted.
