Vipers SC Officially Unveil their Newest Signing Disan Galiwango

A fortnight after announcing the signing of left back cum left winger Disan Galiwango, four time Uganda premier league champions Vipers SC have on Wednesday 1st July officially unveiled the former Express FC captain as their new player.

Disan was undoubtedly Express' best player last season, netting eight goals in all competitions. Having played 26 matches in all competitions-24 in the league and two in Uganda cup, Galiwango scored six and two goals in the respective tournaments.

At his new home Vipers, he'll compete for the starting berth along with Aziz Kayondo and Farouq but for his unbeatable talent and experience, he's most assured of a starting berth ahead of the two.

Vipers are the reigning champions of the top football tier of Uganda, the Star Times Uganda Premier League having finished top of the table after 75% of the prematurely ended 2019/2020 season due to the persistent COVID-19 pandemic. Uganda's football governing body FUFA announced 17th October, 2020 as the tentative date for the start of the 2020/2021 season.
