The mother of former Inspector General of Police, Gen. Kale Kayihura has died at the age of 92. Catherine Tibemanya Mukarwamo has left Kayihura in a sombre mood.
The family of Kayihura has confirmed that Catherine Tibemanya Mukarwamo passed away Thursday morning.
The cause of death has yet to be revealed.
Hailing from Kisoro district in western Uganda, Mukarwano was the sister to the late Justice Joseph Mulenga and also mother to New Vision correspondent Dismus Buregyeya.
Tentative funeral arrangements indicate that she will be laid to rest on Saturday.
