"Brian Mulondo Proposed to Me 2 Times But i Refused, 3rd Time He Won My Heart"- Manuela

Manuela Pacutho Mulondo, wife to celebrated media personality, Brian Mukondo has shared about her first proposal from her baby dad and why Protea Hotel is memorable in her life thereby revealing how the KFM D'Mighty Breakfast show host proposed to her simply because she was her great co-driver.

Brian and Manuela are another sweet celebrity power couple in town whose mutual understanding and romance are some of the key outstanding attributes in their marriage of two beautiful babies.

Out of the blue, the trained statistician and marketer has shared an insight in how her heart was stolen by a mere driver simply because of his endless praise for her 'eagle eye' that always steered a lot of journeys with him as his co-driver.

Manuela will not forget the memorable day at Protea Hotel where they had gone to attention to a wedding ceremony.

Because of being a co-driver, she couldn't resist accepting the former "Mini Buzz TV" proposal as he ambushed her from the co-driver's door to place a ring on her middle finger as his one and only babe out of the many trees in Budongo forest.

"A month after the first proposal that I’d forgotten about at this point, we were invited for a friend’s wedding reception at Protea Hotel Kampala. There was so much traffic on our way but we were having good conversation, hearty laughter and it was all good normal fun.

Getting to the venue, we went through the usual hustle of trying to find parking. After driving through the parking lot looking for the perfect spot,we saw a car drive out and off the pavement of the road opposite the gate. We aimed for the spot and after me being a great co-driver directing where Brian's eyes couldn't see, we were finally packed. Now Brian has the tendency to open the car door for me, he came to my car door and that was my cue to quickly finish up and get out only that this time, he had opened the car door and knelt on one knee with a ring in his finger.

"Manuela, I really don't want to spend the rest of my life without you," he said. To which I responded in a typical Manuela way....."Where did that come from?"

So he told me, “You helping me direct the car because I couldn't see, made me feel like we’d make a really great team together. You being able to see what I can't see, and me trusting you enough to follow your lead even when I am in the drivers seat. I think we will compliment each other and I haven't met someone who makes me feel that way. And this parking experience has reminded me just how much I want to spend my life with you.”
