List of the Top 10 Best Female Musicians in Uganda 2020

Musically the year 2020 left a big gap in the entertainment industry of Uganda with performances limited but this did not stop hardworking and focused musicians from making good music. Here we have the full list of the top 10 best female musicians in Uganda.

These artistes have managed to released trending high class music in this year and even with financial challenges others faced, these ones managed to produce good audio and classy music videos.

Below is the List of Uganda's best female musicians 2020:

1. Spice Diana

She is arguably one of the biggest artistes in Uganda currently, Spice has earned a lot through her music concerts, shows both local and international, selling music online, endorsement deals with various companies like Itel Uganda, Yaket drinking water among others. The singer has released top class music in just this year 2020 and she deserves this spot.

2. Sheebah Karungi

Sheebah is one of the few female artistes with visible assets and establishments, acquired through music success. She co-owns a hairline called Sheebah by Natna, recently opened a sanitary pad company producing Holic pads, owns a mansion in Munyonyo. And she is among the top five artiste who earn a lot of loyalties from music played/sold on online music platforms and local media.

3. Nina Roz

Apart from getting married to fellow singer and music producer Daddy Andre, Nina Roz has had a great year musically having released hit songs that topped charts like; Billboard Kipande, Batuwulira and Andele. She also made a bold step when she came out and announced how she had quit from drugs.

4. Angella Katatumba

Despite having a dramatic year when it came to relationships, singer Angella Katatumba's music career came back on top with hit songs like 'Tonelabira', Biluma Abayaye Remix, Emotional and so many others that made her the talk everywhere.

5. Winnie Nwagi

Even with the contraversy always surrounding her closet and dressing style, Winnie Nwagi every year comes through with good music, call it banger hits that leave even her haters nodding in approval. In 2020 Winnie Nwagi dropped hit songs like; Everything, Kwata Esimu, and Jangu.

6. Karole Kasita

Without any doubt, Karole Kasita's "Balance"song has been an anthem in every homestead around the country even beyond boarders. The versatile singer had a good year.

7. Rema Namakula

Despite her beauty and hard work, Rema is one of the most successful female artiste in Uganda, she has also earned a lot through selling music albums online, stage performance, concerts, paid partnerships and endorsement deals with various companies like Jesa Milk, Hema mineral water among others. This year she released big songs and was on lips of every one.

8. Azawi

The creativity that came with the Quinamino singer Azawi saw her also remaining on top of her game this year having released music that was danced to by everyone. songs like; Lo Fit, and Repeat it.

9. Cindy Sanyu

Cindy did not release so many songs this year with just "Too Much" but has voice has been heard on almost every stage even in the lockdown as she performed, danced and even hit more lights when she got engaged.

10. Chosen Becky

To everyone that held a mukolo this year, Nesiimye was always on their playlists as Chosen Becky gave in her best to sing a song that relates with everyone. She gave birth earlier and left everyone speechless.
