Musicians and Events Promoters Led by Ragga Dee appear before Parliament to Request For UGx 7.7Billion

A group of Ugandan Musicians, promoters and events managers under Events Association of Uganda led by Dan Kazibwe (Ragga Dee) have today appeared before the House to request for 7.7 billion to stage concerts on TV's.

According to latest info we have received, these musicians and event organizers went before the Parliament's Budget Committee to justify this request.

The Money according to Ragga Dee is to help them organize shows virtually or on Television so that they are able to entertain the Ugandans.

This request comes at a time after the President, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni addressing the nation and announcing how entertainers will resume business next year after the president announced that the economy will fully reopen in January, 2022.
