Masaza Cup: More Prize Money Lined Up for the Winners

In a meeting that convened at the Buganda headquarters in Bulange Mengo on 1st October, 2019, the Minister for Youths, Sports and recreation Henry Ssekabembe Kiberu highlighted on the Masaza Cup Finals.

The finals will take place on Saturday 26th October, 2019 at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole between 2012 champions Bulemeezi and first time finalists Busiro. 

The finals will like in the previous editions be graced by His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II the Kabaka of Buganda.

The curtainraising match will be third Place play offs between Buddu who lost to Busiro and Kyadondo who were semi final losers to Bulemeezi. 

This year's tournament winners will walk home with 12 Millions with the first runners up pocketing 9 Millions. 

The third placed team will bag 7 Millions whilst the fourth will have 5 Millions. 

Last year's winners went home with 10 Millions, and runners up got 8 Millions, with third placed team pocketing 5 Millions as 3 Millions went to the fourth.
