Songstress Juliana Kanyomozi says the poor coordination of the event is solely the reason as to why she pulled out of city events organizer cum guitarist Shaka Mayanja Ssali's Jazz Safari concert.
The Princess from Toro Kingdom was one of the artistes that had been lined up to headline the upcoming Jazz Safari event, which is slated to be held on May 07th, 2022 but as fans were excited of seeing her back to stage performances, Juliana abruptly pulled out of the event.
The diva during an exclusive TV interview has stated how Shaka failed to honour the terms of the agreement after being told that Jazz Safari was going to be a private party with only 200 invited guests and she was meant to perform between 4 to 5 songs.
She was however shocked during to the press conference to learn that she was headlining a concert, which was contrary to the signed terms of their agreement. Despite her manager involving the show organizers to honour the terms of the agreement, they paid a deaf ear.
The 'Nabikoowa' hit singer says there wasn't any way she could allow Shaka to disrespect her brand which she has worked for, for over the past 20 years.
"Shaka failed to honour the terms of the agreement after telling us that the Jazz Safari was a private party with only 200 guests and I was supposed to perform 4 to 5 songs. At the press conference, it is when we learnt it was a concert not a private event. We informed the organizer to change the posters and he decided to turn it down. I respect Shaka but there's no way I could allow him to disrespect my brand that I have worked for, for over the past 20 years."- Juliana Kanyomozi.
