Azawi Promises to Crown Up Her Maiden Concert with Fireworks

Multi-talented singer, and songwriter Priscilla Zawedde, aka Azawi, is set to crown up her maiden African Music Concert with Fireworks on Friday at Lugogo Grounds.

The clock is already on the count down for the mega music concert of the year as the Swangz music superstar will be cementing her name in the local music records just two and a half years after her breakthrough on the music scene.

It will be the first major concert by a solo Ugandan act following a two-year lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The star has promised to take revellers through some of her biggest songs off her maiden album, “African Music”.

Apart from being accompanied by an incredible lineup of artists, including singer Eddy Kenzo, dancehall star A Pass, and hip-hop star Fik Fameica among others, Azawi has assured partiers to turn up in huge numbers as she is ready to celebrate African music in style with Fireworks.

"We haven’t had fireworks in 2 years, How about we celebrate African Music in style 🎇," stated Azawi through her socials.

Tickets to the show are going for 30k early bird and 50k at the gate for general tickets, while VIP tickets are going for 80k early bird and 100k at the gate, with a table of eight people going for Shs2.5m.
