The Masaza Cup tournament reached the finals with Busiro set to play host to Bulemeezi.
Having won with a 3:1 aggregate score over Buddu, the Wakiso side will play hosts as an advantage for having a better score as compared to Bulemeezi's 2:1 aggregate win over Kyadondo.
Here Blizz Uganda brings you what the Busiro Vs Bulemeezi final on Saturday 26th October, 2019 implies.
For the past six campaigns since 2013, the finals have been played amongst three teams i.e Gomba, Buddu and Ssingo.
That sequence brought about controversy amongst Masaza Cup football fans saying the finalists are dictated so as the get teams with the most football fans.
It is thought that the three teams have the largest sums of fans and on that note would make the finals sound monetary wise.
This time round, not any of the three has made the finals, with the tournament growing, it's the real moment the organisers would prefer to have large masses of supporters but the kind of the finalists point to the fact that finals are for those that have had better preparations.
Busiro recruited a crop of best players like Mikidad Ssenyonga, Ivan Sserubiri, Mutumba Adad among others and their feat (finals) is undisputed.
Bulemeezi have incured large sums of money, the acquisition of coach Noah Mugerwa and a crop of players from Buddu, doesn't surprise anyone that they've made it to the finals.
Such has been the case with Gomba, Singo and Buddu.
The finals will as in the previous editions be graced by His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.
Kyadondo Vs Buddu at mid-day.
Busiro Vs Bulemeezi at 3Pm.
This year's tournament winner is assured of 12M and all the semi finalists are already assured of 8M.
