Local Singer Vampino Kirya Arrested in Jamaica, Cries Out for Help

Ugandan dancehall singer Elvis Kirya popularly known as Vampino has been arrested and detained in a Jamaican Prison Blizz Uganda has learned.

The "Smart Wire" singer has broken up the shocking news through a social media post where he revealed how he is being detained in a Jamaican cell in Montego Bay on reasons still unknown.

Vampino has on Saturday henceforth cried out as he rallied Ugandans most especially the Jamaican embassy to do the needful to help him get released.

“Uganda my peeps help me and contact the embassy am locked in a Jamaican cell in Montego bay..munyambe…have no help here,” the smart wire singer posted on his Facebook page today.

Three days ago while at the airport in Jamaica, he posted on his Facebook page,” Goodbye Jamaica..The rest is gonna be history…thanks for the much love.”

Currently, we are not sure whether Vampino was arrested from the airport while planning to leave the country or not.
